Honaunau: The Crossroads of the Universe
If you were able to travel physically to the Edge of Eternity, it would be located 20 miles or so south of the bustling village of Kailua-Kona. Known as the Place of Refuge, Puâu Honua OâHonaunau is also a place of miracles. It is now preserved as a federal park and is easily found on all maps of the island.
Honaunau is the wonderful setting and energy vortex for those who have not been able to get out of their own âsoup.â Those who have witnessed the raw splendor of this most beautiful setting will never forget it. Even the unenlightened do not take it lightly. It is the only true Hawaiian sanctuary of forgiveness remaining intact on all the islands. The ancient Hawaiians held this place in the very highest regard, as do their descendants to this date. This is the sacred ground where an offender of any act could be forgiven and absolved.
I have been taking terminally ill people to this sacred ground for healing since 1986. The real miracles of the heart come easy in this incredible setting. I promise you, no matter who you are or from what walk of life you comeâyou will never forget this place. The actual ground of healing energy extends from the beach into the mountains some five miles in the shape of a triangle.
People who have worn out their options have changed their lives forever by making the sojourn to Puâu Honua Oâ Honaunau.
The actual forgiveness ritual which came to me psychically, received a lengthy blessing from David âPappaâ Bray, the son of one of Hawaiiâs greatest kahunas, Daddy Bray to whom this book is dedicated in memoriam. This special event took place at the baptism and child christening of the daughter of our mutual friends, Mark Victor and Patty Hansen. There were about 35 people present at the event, including a well-known religious leader of our time. Intuitively I described the healing ritual and declared that at least a million people would be coming to the Place of Refuge in the next decade to receive their initiations and healings. David blessed this proclamation with a 15-minute Hawaiian mantra, and then gave me the great honor of allowing me to meditate on those sacred grounds with Daddyâs amulet, which was the recipient of Daddyâs last breath. I considered this an honor because Hawaiian tradition teaches that the amulet contains the spirit and teachings of Daddy Bray as passed on to his chosen one. Passing the breath from one generation to the next is the traditional way for kahunas to transfer their wisdom to the designated heirs of their knowledge. Whether by artifact or from mouth to mouth, this ritual intent has to do with the core-level understanding and fundamental Hawaiian teaching that all wisdom and connection to spirit can be found within our âbreath of life.â While meditating at sunset on the lava, the amulet heated up in my hand and vibrated. I felt a deep emotion and knew that something special had happened.
